5 Healthy Morning Drink Recipes To Start Your Day OFF Right

Three shocking truths up front: it’ s not black coffee, orange juice or green kale smoothie. Is it even imaginable nowadays that people start their day without coffee? For most people not, for me that’s quite normal now.

I once listened to a great lecture by Dr. Jack Alloca about coffee, which changed my opinion a lot. He talked about how too much caffeine taxes the adrenals, it can contain harmful substances and he doesn’t know any sleep scientist who would drink coffee. Interesting. Is coffee evil? No. But it depends very much on the quality and the intentions. I personally only drink coffee for pleasure, not for an “energy-kick”, which is not real energy anyways. Some days there is no coffee at all, and if I drink coffee, only one cup a day. And this from someone who sometimes drank eight cups of coffee a day… Oops. How did I survive it again?


My friend Carl once shared his reflective and insightful words about coffee as follows: “Avoid places like Starbucks. Disgusting. Horrible. 1. MY MOST FAVORITE WAY TO START THE DAY: BONE BROTH
